About this hymn
The text first appeared in 1787 in John Rippon's collection, signed only 'K.' Every verse after the first is God speaking, in scripture's own words. The tune Foundation is an early American melody, sturdy and square, and all four parts move together, which makes it easy to hold your own line.
Two taps away from all your church's music.
